Bins should be placed out no earlier than 5pm the night before your collection day, or by 5am on collection day.
Is there bin collection on public holidays?
Bin collections are affected on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday. If your collection falls on one of these days, then your bins will be collected the following day.
Bins are collected any time between 5am and 4pm on your collection day.
If your bin has not been collected by 4pm, please let us know via report missed bin collection. We'll collect it within 24-48 business hours of being notified, including on weekends.
Please check the bin collection calendar before reporting a missed collection. Bins will not be collected in a different week to the scheduled service.
To help us process our recycling and not damage recycling machines, we will place a sticker on your recycling or glass bin if the wrong items are put inside. We will mark on the sticker what the wrong item is, so that you know not to put it in next time.
When you have removed the wrong item/s, please call us on 9205 5555 or let us know via report a missed bin collection and we will arrange for your bin to be emptied.
The contamination sticker is an educational tool so everyone knows what can be recycled.
