We offer a generous Town Hall Subsidy Grant to not-for-profit community groups who operate in Yarra and want to use our Town Halls.
We are now accepting applications for events taking place at Yarra Town Halls until 30 June 2027.
You can apply online for events held from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026. Apply online for events from 1 July 2026 - 30 June 2027.
Before applying, please book your event online with Venues and Events.
Grant guidelines
You are eligible to apply for the grant if you are a community group and want to hold an event with significant benefit to our community.
This grant offers successful applicants a 90% discount for hall hire at one of our town halls (Richmond, Collingwood and Fitzroy).
You can only use this grant for one hall booking per financial year.
Application process

Before applying, please book your event with Venues and Events on 9205 5555.

Apply online for a Town Hall Subsidy Grant.

Provide a refundable bond and arrange public liability insurance and security as required by the Conditions of Hire [ PDF, 195.67 KB] .
