'Waste station' community event North Fitzroy

Wednesday 03 May 2023

Swing by our 'waste station' from 6-8pm on Wednesday 3 May at North Fitzroy Library to learn more about moving to a circular economy.

The Victorian Government has made some big changes to support the transition to a circular economy by reducing waste, reusing and repairing products and increasing recycling. These important changes mean the cost of providing waste and recycling services is rising.

To meet this challenge, we are separating the cost of waste services from general rates. By separating out waste service charges we can continue to provide essential services to our community for generations to come.

Join us at North Fitzroy Library where you can enjoy engaging activities on waste minimisation, reuse, repair and recycling, and chat to our friendly team about how the separation of waste service charges from general rates affects you.
