Comedy Performance and Film Screening

The event will open with a comedy performance by Oliver Hunter, a comedian with disability who brings humour and lived experience to the stage.

This will be followed by a special screening of Boss Cat, a new Australian film that premiered at the 2026 Sydney Film Festival and is being released nationally on International Day of People with Disability. Made with an inclusive cast and crew, the film celebrates disability representation, independence and self-determination, while challenging stereotypes about people with disability.

International Day of People with Disability is celebrated annually on 3 December to raise awareness, promote inclusion and celebrate the contributions of people with disability to our communities.
