Project Management Essentials for Local Organisations

Every successful program or project is based on great design and planning. Learn how to maximise your resources and avoid common project plan faults to design a project that is on time, on budget and achieves all of its goals.

This online workshop will assist committees and organisations who are planning a project. It will also help those who apply for grants to have a solid base for grant applications.

Topics include:

  • Defining the project and its benefit to the community
  • Creating a project or program plan
  • Assessing risk in new programs and determining their viability
  • Identifying program opportunities
  • Building program budgets
  • Utilising project management tools
  • Understanding the role of evaluations and their importance when managing a project
