Celebrating IDAHOBIT

Friday 15 May 2020

Let's join together to acknowledge the annual International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) and celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people and communities of Yarra.

On IDAHOBIT, people all over the world, people come together to take a stand against homophobia, biphobia, intersexism and transphobia.

IDAHOBIT is an opportunity to recognise the struggles of the LGBTIQ+ community, and a chance to celebrate our diversity and achievements.

We’re raising the rainbow flag and celebrating with a round of trivia hosted by our special guest, Art Simone! We’ll be livestreaming it all to our Yarra City Council Facebook page from 10.30am Friday 15 May.

Wear a splash of rainbow, tune in to the live stream and add a rainbow backdrop to your online meetings and stand against discrimination and support our LGBTIQ+ mates, colleagues and community.
