We're upgrading the sauna and steam room at Fitzroy Swimming Pool from Tuesday 11 March to Thursday 17 April.

These works are essential and aim to improve your experience at Fitzroy Swimming Pool.

The works will include:

• Refit of the sauna wood and heater to create a more relaxing experience, with reduced closure times for repairs
• Tiling of the steam room to make it easier to maintain cleanliness
• Rebuilding of the air handling system in the spa, sauna, steam area
• Upgrades to the skylights in the male and female changerooms.

There will be partial and temporary closures to the male and female changerooms. The dates and times for these closures are yet to be confirmed.

During the closures the family changerooms and change boxes on pool deck with be available for use.

We encourage you to visit our spa and sauna facilities at Collingwood Leisure Centre or our recently refitted steam, spa and sauna facilities at Richmond Recreation Centre during this period.

I’m a member, what are my options during the closure?

During this period we encourage you to use alternative facilities. As a member, you can access Collingwood Leisure Centre and Richmond Recreation Centre at any time.
