Fitzroy Pool closed for MS Mega Swim

From 5pm Friday 14 February to 7pm Saturday 15 February, the MS Mega Swim will take over the 50m pool at Fitzroy for a 24-hour swim to raise money for people living with multiple sclerosis.

From 5pm Friday 14 February to 7pm Saturday 15 February, the MS Mega Swim will take over the 50m pool and toddler pool space at Fitzroy for a 24-hour swim to raise money for people living with multiple sclerosis.

During that time, the 50m pool, toddler pool and group exercise studio will be closed to the public and will reopen to the public at 7am on Sunday 16 February.

The gym, spa, sauna and steam room will remain open as normal.

Will group exercise classes be cancelled?

Please be advised that the following group exercise classes have been cancelled for Saturday 15 February:

  • 9.15am - Body Balance
  • 10:30am - Yoga

We apologise for any inconvenience the closures and class cancellations may cause.

What is the charity event?

The MS Mega Swim is a fun team relay event where teams have a swimmer in the water for 24 hours and compete for laps swum and money raised, in support for people living with multiple sclerosis. It is one of Australia's fastest growing fundraising events, bringing communities together.
