Thomas Kidney Reserve is one of the parks that makes up the Linear Parklands (Inner Circle Railway Linear Parklands).

It is also home to the Rushall Community Garden and close to Rushall Railway Station, on the South Morang Line.

Named after Thomas Kidney JP (1815 – 1890), an early settler to Fitzroy, prominent local businessman, sporting club founder and political figure. President of the 'Kidney Parliament' and member of the Old Colonists' Association.
