The Fairfield Amphitheatre, set in the midst of Fairfield Park, is an impressive venue for outdoor performances and ceremonies.
It features a 12.5 x 10-metre circular performance space with capacity for up to 350 people. There is also a kiosk and a lighting and projector room.

The Fairfield Amphitheatre is not fully wheelchair accessible but there are platforms to station wheelchairs.
There is an accessible toilet on-site.

Permits
To book the park for an event, you will need an event in public spaces permit.
- Available for bookings between 8am and 9pm.
- We need a minimum of 10 working days' notice for all potential bookings.
- As the event hirer, you must carry your event permit at all times.
- Please ensure you monitor noise levels, as the Fairfield Amphitheatre is in a residential area.

Alcohol
Alcohol may be consumed in the park between 9am and 9pm. This does not require a permit.
You must apply for a temporary limited licence if you intend to sell alcohol within the park.
Due to location of the site (near the Yarra River) we do not recommend alcohol is consumed at the Fairfield Amphitheatre.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed off-leash in unfenced sporting grounds only when the grounds are not in use for approved sporting events (including training)
Dogs must be kept on-leash within 10 metres of sporting grounds when they are in use for approved sporting events (including training)
Opening Hours: The Fairfield Amphitheatre is available to be booked between 8am and 9pm.
