The Carlton Farmers Market springs to life every Saturday at Carlton North Primary School.

Enjoy access to the finest:

  • fruit and vegetables
  • free range eggs and meats
  • olives and oil
  • honey, nuts and grains
  • dairy and cheeses
  • breads and pastries.

There's a great playground and open spaces for the kids, plus outdoor seating. Well behaved dogs on a leash are permitted.

You can access the market by public transport:

  • Bus routes 250 and 251.
  • Tram routes 1, 6 and 96.

The market is easily accessible by bike. Follow the paths along Rathdowne Street or Canning Street.

Street parking is available near the market.

Saturday: 8am–1pm

Entry fee

Entry is by a voluntary $2 donation (card only). As this is a not-for-profit social enterprise, all donations go towards school projects and for running the market and food relief programs.
