The Learning Bank is our service hub in Victoria Street, Richmond. It focuses on adult literacy, business training, and life skills.

The venue features an open-plan training area and two small offices. The training area has capacity for 20 people and is suitable for meetings, presentations and small events. The smaller Lotus and Wattle rooms are suitable for small meetings, interviews and study.

Please note: this is not a private room. It is a shared space with several programs and staff during business hours. If you need staff to work-off site during your booking, please advise our team.

Venue conditions

  • Please ensure you monitor noise levels, as the Learning Bank is in a residential area.
  • You must supply your own consumables and catering.

How to book 

If you are a registered user and have booked with us before, you can log into our booking system to book a space.

If you are a new user, you need to register with us before you make a booking.

Organisation bookings

If you are from an organisation, you must:

  • register your organisation
  • make your booking under your organisation's name.

If you're from a not-for-profit group, you may be eligible for discounted use. Contact our bookings team to find out more.

Not-for-profit discount

Not-for-profit rates are applicable for registered not-for-profit organisations and charities. To find out if you're eligible, please call 9205 5555 or email [email protected].

Availability

Availability is limited during business hours, as we use the venue for Council programs. We give priority to meetings related to:

  • adult literacy
  • business training
  • employment and life skills services.
