After Hours at the Convent as part of Emerging Writers Festival

What happens when you take four emerging writers, put them in one of Melbourne’s most atmospheric spaces, add live music, a pop-up bar and a little after-dark magic.

You get After Hours at the Convent, an immersive evening of live readings, digital projections, ambient sounds and conversations.

Hosted by ABC broadcaster Paul Verhoeven, the event will feature four current and former Abbotsford Convent Writers in Residence plus a live ambient jazz DJ
