Come in to one of our customer service centres (please bring a copy of your animal registration renewal notice).

Follow these 3 easy steps to sign up for eNotices.

Step 1: Follow this link to the sign-up page. Sign-up Online.

Step 2: Click the 'Sign-up' tab and enter your email address and eNotice reference number. You will have your own individual reference number, as shown on the example below:

Step 3: Check your email inbox and verify your email address (if you haven’t received the verification email, check your junk email).

Once activated, all future animal registration renewal notices will then be emailed to you. You can also log in to access your older renewal notices at any time.

You need to update your pet’s details if any of the following have changed:

• Moved to a new address (both in or out of Yarra).
• Pet has recently been desexed (reduces the renewal fee).
• Pet has passed away or is lost.
• Your contact details have changed.
• You have given your pet away.

Please include your Animal ID or Tag Number as this will help us process your request quicker.

Renewal notices are sent to your provided postal address (or last provided email address if receiving your renewal by eNotices), so it is very important that we have the most up to date contact details for your business.

Renewal notices will be sent between the dates of 28 February – 10 March.

If you need register a new pet, please visit our Animal Registration Page to apply online.

You will need to supply all the relevant information pay the appropriate fee when submitting your application.

To replace your cat or dog's registration tag, you can request this online. The fee to replace your registration tag is $7.00.

Alternatively, you can request and pay for a new registration tag in person at Yarra City Council customer service centres, this way you can get your tag on the spot.
