Animal registration renewals

Your pet registration renewal is due on 10 April each year. This is a requirement under the Domestic Animals Act 1994.

You will receive your renewal notice either by email (if you’re an existing eNotice user) or by mail early March 2022.

You can pay your pet’s registration renewal using the below options. Be sure to have your YeP number handy which is located near the bottom right of your renewal notice.

Post a cheque or money order (no cash please) payable to Yarra City Council with the bottom slip of your renewal notice to PO BOX 168 Richmond VIC 3121.

Follow these 3 ease steps to sign up for eNotices.

Step 1Sign-up Online.

Step 2: Click 'Sign Up' tab and enter your email address and eNotice reference number. You will have your own individual reference number, as shown on the example below:

Step 3: Check your email inbox and verify your email address (if you haven’t received the verification email, check your junk email).

Once activated, all future animal registration renewal notices will then be emailed to you. You can also log in to access your older renewal notices at any time.
