A parkland setting and convenient location make this venue a popular choice for event organisers. Djerring Centre is suitable for formal and semi-formal functions, workshops and general meetings. It can accommodate up to 100 people.

Bagung Magali Community Room at Bargoonga Nganjin

Bagung Magali Community Room is large modern space within Bargoonga Nganjin which is suitable for events with 50-150 guests. The space has an adjacent commercial kitchen and inbuilt AV equipment and can be divided into two separate breakout spaces.

Mark Street Hall

Located in a quaint and quiet part of North Fitzroy, Mark Street Hall is an ideal venue for family gatherings, group meetings.. The venue features a fully fenced play area, perfect for children's parties, as well as a wooden polished dance floor. It is also suitable for formal and semi-formal events and workshops. Capacity for this venue is 80 people.

The Community Room in Edinburgh Gardens is located next to the old Fitzroy Football Club grandstand.

With views of the city skyline, the room is suitable for formal and semi-formal events, and meetings and workshops.

Venue conditions

  • All functions between Sunday and Thursday must finish by 11pm.
  • All functions between Friday and Saturday must finish by 1am.
  • Please ensure you monitor noise levels, as the Edinburgh Gardens Community Room is in a residential area.
  • You must supply your own cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen.
  • You may choose your own caterer – we can provide recommended caterers on request.
  • This venue is adjacent to an oval and sporting matches are often scheduled on the weekend.

Alcohol

Edinburgh Gardens Community Room is not a licensed venue. You must apply for a temporary limited licence if you intend to sell alcohol.

You must submit a Partysafe form to Victoria Police if you want to:

  • supply alcohol free of charge
  • allow guests to bring their own alcohol
