Victoria Street Revitalisation Project​

Council is developing a Revitalisation Plan for the Victoria Street Precinct of North Richmond and Abbotsford in partnership with residents, local businesses, and the private sector.

The Plan will outline a series of short, medium, and long-term initiatives aimed at transforming the Precinct — making it greener, more attractive, and safer for everyone. It will also support the growth of a vibrant and resilient local economy by working with existing businesses and identifying opportunities to attract new investment. 

Importantly, the Plan will continue to celebrate the Vietnamese community’s role in Victoria Street’s cultural and economic identity.

Roller door grafitti removal

Council runs a weekly service which removes graffiti from shop fronts at ground level along Victoria Street. As part of our Victoria Street Revitalisation Project and at no cost to your business, we can extend this graffiti removal service to your shop’s roller door.

What we've been doing

Victoria Street graffiti removal

We are removing graffiti on roller doors along Victoria Street. Currently, 20 properties are participating in this initiative.

We held a community forum in November to help shape the future of the Victoria Street Precinct.

Victoria Street Revitalisation Community Reference Group

A community reference group has been established to also contribute to the draft Revitalisation Plan.
