Xin mời đến Thư Viện Richmond xem buổi chiếu phim tài liệu đặc biệt "Đông gặp Tây : East Meets West" được quay vào năm 1984 gồm các buổi tập dượt và trình diễn những câu chuyện cá nhân về chiến tranh, vượt biên và tái định cư ở Úc nhằm Kỷ Niệm 50 năm Người Việt định cư ở Yarra.
Sau buổi chiếu phim sẽ có phần thảo luận với Đạo diễn Ivan Hexter về sự hợp tác làm phim giữa Công ty Sân khấu West và cộng đồng người Việt tại Melbourne gần 40 năm về trước.

Join us for a special screening of the remastered East Meets West, a 1984 documentary based on a theatrical event collaboration between West Theatre Company and Melbourne's Vietnamese community.
This event celebrates 50 years of Vietnamese community in Yarra and includes a post-screening discussion with Director Ivan Hexter and light Vietnamese refreshments.

West Theatre Company comprises actors, musicians, and directors. In this program, they work together with Melbourne’s Vietnamese community to create the theatrical event “A Celebration of Welcome.” Historical footage and scenes from rehearsals and performances support the personal stories of the war, the escape from Vietnam, and resettlement in a new homeland.
