The Fairfield Amphitheatre, set in the midst of Fairfield Park, is an impressive venue for outdoor performances and ceremonies.

• Seat up to 350 people
• Power is available at this site at an additional cost (2 and 3-phase power)
• Circular performance space measuring 12.5 x 10 metres
• Ticketbox and kiosk with sink and large refrigerator
• Toilet and changeroom facilities
• Lighting and projector room
• External lighting

Designated areas available for hire

• The Fairfield Amphitheatre is available to be booked between 8am and 9pm.
• A minimum of 10 working days notice is required for all potential bookings.
• The event permit must be carried by the hirer at all times
• The Fairfield Amphitheatre is in a residential area; noise levels must be monitored.

Event permit requirements

You will need a permit if one of these conditions apply:

• There will be more than 50 attendees.
• Your event is catered by an external supplier.
• You are charging participants a fee to attend.
• You require amplified sound
• You require vehicle access to drop off equipment.
• Your event requires a specific location.
• You are having a wedding ceremony
• You plan to erect large structures (small 3x3 marquees are permitted: must be weighted down and secured safely. Spikes or pegs are strictly prohibited.)

Alcohol

• Alcohol may be consumed within the park between 9am and 9pm. 
• You can't sell Alcohol in the park unless you have a temporary liquor license.
• Due to location of the site (near the Yarra River) we do not recommend alcohol is consumed at the Fairfield Amphitheatre 

Accessibility

The Fairfield Amphitheatre is not fully wheelchair accessible but there are platforms where wheelchairs can be stationed.

An accessible toilet is also on-site.
