This free, interactive workshop provides participants with strategies to recruit, retain and recognise the work of volunteers.

Participants will use the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement to develop or improve an existing volunteer program. Volunteer reward and recognition leads to longer retention rates and a healthy workplace culture.

Topics include: 

• Understanding recruitment and retention in line with the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement
• Developing comprehensive recruitment channels to attract a variety of demographics
• Understanding volunteer motivations and how to manage volunteer expectations
• Developing systems to recognise the contribution volunteers make to the programs and organisations in which they work
