The draft Concept Design was developed using feedback we received from the Golden Square Masterplan consultation in 2021, where there was strong support to upgrade the existing playground.

Some features of the design include:

• play options for a wider range of ages 
• improved accessibility 
• more nature play elements 
• better connection to the Fairy Tree - a historically significant local treasure.
