Have your say on the new draft Procurement Policy
The new draft Procurement Policy will use its purchasing power to deliver value for money.
Yarra City Council has developed a new draft Procurement Policy. This policy sets the strategic direction for how Council uses its purchasing power to deliver value for money and advance long-term social, environmental, economic and governance objectives.
This Policy was prepared in accordance with Sections 108 and 109 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Vic), aligning with the MAV Best Practice Procurement Guidelines 2024 and will replace the current policy. It is an important tool for getting the best value use of ratepayer funds.
Share your thoughts and let us know what you think. We are seeking feedback on how the Policy is applied in practice and any suggestions to improve clarity and implementation of the draft Policy.
