Council is committed to improving road safety in Yarra.
As Yarra grows, we want to ensure our streets are accessible, safe and supportive of the community’s needs. Now it's over to you to tell us what you think of the four options and if you have any other feedback.
Based on expert traffic advice and feedback received from the community during the first stage of consultation, we’ve developed four concept options to improve road safety on Rowena Parade, Richmond.
The concept options are:
- One-way eastbound
- One-way westbound
- A partial one-way westbound
- Two-way with traffic calming measures
Any changes to traffic conditions would require approval by the State Government Department of Transport and Planning following any Council decision.
