Yarra City Council’s next Council Meeting is scheduled for 6.30pm on Tuesday 9 July 2024 at Richmond Town Hall.  

Key items on the agenda: 

• Yarra’s Climate Emergency Plan 2024-2030 will be presented for adoption, following extensive consultation with our community.
• Yarra’s draft Play Space Strategy will be presented for approval to begin community and stakeholder consultation.
• The final concept design for the Gertrude and Brunswick Street Public Space Project will be presented for endorsement.
• A report on the Keeping Yarra Flood Resilient project will be presented, including the preparation and findings of a municipal-wide flood modelling study and mapping exercise, outcomes of Stage 1 community engagement, and next steps to address Council’s regulatory obligations.
• The Governance Report for July 2024 will be presented. 

Community members can attend the meeting at Richmond Town Hall or watch the live stream online.
