Severe weather warning for Yarra

A severe weather warning that has been issued for Victoria tomorrow, Thursday, 13 October.

Rainfalls of between 40mm and 70mm have been predicted for the City of Yarra with high risks of flash flooding.

Be flood ready and remember:

  • Limit your travel as much as possible
  • Floodwater is dangerous. Stay safe by never entering floodwater
  • Never drive in floodwater
  • Avoid bike paths which have a higher risk of flooding
  • Stay informed – monitor weather warnings and forecasts at the Bureau of Meteorology website, and warnings through the VicEmergency app, website and hotline 1800 226 226.
  • In an emergency call 000 or SES 132 500.
