Who are the committee members?

Eight community members will be appointed to the new committee. Members will be selected based on:

  • capacity to consult and represent a wide range of views
  • ability to understand the needs of different active transport users
  • expertise and experience across different forms of active transport
  • a diverse gender and demographic mix

How long are the terms for committee members?

The normal length of appointments for this committee is four years, but because the committee is new, we plan to offer half of the successful applicants a two-year term.

When you fill out the form please indicate whether you would be prepared to accept a two year term if that is what is offered.

When and where will the meetings take place?

Meetings will take place once every three months and will be held in person. There is also the potential for some meetings to be conducted online.

How do I get involved?

If you would like to be involved as a community representative, please fill out the Expression of Interest form and email to [email protected]
