Sophie and Julie are business owners of Feathered Arbour on Rathdowne Street in Carlton North and local residents of 20 years.

Just like its owners, the store is vibrant and trendy just waiting to inspire you, with homewares, interiors, artworks, accessories, gifts and more! 

They have seven children between them and are actively involved at local sporting clubs and schools. “We love the village like atmosphere and the feeling of home when driving down the beautifully tree-lined street”. The vibrant food, coffee and design scene, amazing parks and services are all reasons why we live and work in Yarra” they said. 

“There are many businesses anchored by the beautiful Curtin Square which we have formed some amazing relationships and loyalties with, including local residents and visitors. We like to support others and like to think they feel the same way – it’s give and take really.”

The Christmas spirit is alive and well at the Feathered Arbour as Sophie and Julie create a beautiful Christmas window every year, host Christmas shopping events throughout December and offer complimentary gift wrapping on all purchases.
