On Friday 28 September, our opening hours will be affected by the Friday before the AFL Grand Final public holiday.

Customer service

Our four customer service centres (Richmond Town Hall, Collingwood Town Hall, Connie Benn Centre and Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library) will be closed.

You can complete customer service requests online or call our after-hours team on 9205 5555 for council emergencies.

All our customer service centres will resume normal operating hours on Monday 1 October.

Libraries

Our five libraries (Carlton, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond and Bargoonga Nganjin,North Fitzroy Library) will be closed.

However, return chutes will be operating and you can renew your items online.

All our libraries will resume normal operating hours on Saturday 29 September.

Leisure centres

Opening hours for our leisure centres (Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond) and Burnley Golf Course will be affected. 

Our three leisure centres will be open from 8am to 6pm. There will be adjusted group fitness timetables at each location.

Burnley Golf Course will be open from 6.30am to 6pm.

Rubbish and recycling

Residential bin collections will take place as normal.

Our recycling drop-off point will be open 9am to 4pm.
