Change your details

Update your details so our letters and rates notices find you.

Submit a change of name or address

Submit a change online by following the green button on this page.

You may need to provide proof, such as a marriage a certificate for a change of name.

By notifying us, you can have your details updated on your rates notice and Yarra City Council systems. To update your details on your title, please visit SERV

Rates authority nominations

Nominate an additional person to be authorised to receive rates notices, and access your rates account. This can be submitted by the property owner, or the person requesting authority when they attach written consent from the property owner. 

Managing agent updates

If you are a managing agent, you can request to update your details or have additional properties added to your account. You may be required to provide written consent from the property owner, or your managing agent ID if you have been assigned one.

After buying or selling a property

When a property is bought or sold in Yarra, you must let us know who should receive the rates notice within 28 days.

As part of settlement, your conveyancer will send through a notice of acquisition or disposition on your behalf. If this has not happened please contact your conveyancer directly.
