Access to Early Learning program

The Access to Early Learning (AEL) program helps 3-year-old children from families with complex needs to engage in a high-quality kindergarten program.

This free program can:

  • connect families to kindergarten programs
  • help children with activities to learn at home
  • help parents understand a child's learning and development better
  • make sure teachers know how they can best support a child.

A referral is required for this program and can be made by:

  • a Family Support worker
  • a Maternal & Child Health nurse
  • a Child First worker
  • a Child Protection worker
  • an ECEC professional
