Access to Early Learning program
The Access to Early Learning (AEL) program helps 3-year-old children from families with complex needs to engage in a high-quality kindergarten program.
This free program can:
- connect families to kindergarten programs
- help children with activities to learn at home
- help parents understand a child's learning and development better
- make sure teachers know how they can best support a child.

A referral is required for this program and can be made by:
- a Family Support worker
- a Maternal & Child Health nurse
- a Child First worker
- a Child Protection worker
- an ECEC professional
