Yarra STEAM labs

Find out more about STEAM labs, our much-loved after-school programs for kids.

Yarra STEAM labs are our much-loved after-school programs for kids. They provide a fun and inclusive place for kids to learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

You'll find labs across our branches on various days throughout the week.

Please note:

  • children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult
  • children under the age of 12 must not be left unattended for any length of time
  • all labs run during school term only
  • bookings are required for Maker lab.

We developed Yarra STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) labs to give access to smart technologies and encourage participation, so everyone can share the benefits of our Smart City vision.
