Breastfeeding Support Service

The City of Yarra Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service provides dedicated breastfeeding support, delivered by experienced MCH Nurses who have completed International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) training.

We offer assistance with a wide range of breastfeeding concerns, including:

• Help with positioning and attachment
• Support for breast and nipple care
• Managing breastmilk supply concerns
• Support for feeding twins or multiples
• Advice for managing mastitis
• Support for breast refusal, and
• Guidance on other feeding challenges
