Yarra Libraries has cemented its place as Victoria’s leading library service, topping the state for the highest combined number of visits, loans, and memberships relative to population in 2024–25, according to Public Libraries Victoria.
With more than 625,000 visits, 872,021 loans, and more than 60,000 members, Yarra Libraries continues to set the benchmark for inclusive, community-led service.
Our 2,477 programs and events drew more than 67,000 attendees, while customer satisfaction remains sky-high - 96% of users say the library is an important part of their community.
Our innovative initiatives, like the Open Library and diverse creative programs and events, are drawing attention from councils across the country.
