Trialling a safer Elizabeth Street
At Tuesday night’s Council Meeting, Council resolved to:
- Approved the baseline concept design plan for the Elizabeth Street bike lanes, incorporating all high and medium-risk recommendations including sightline requirements from the Road Safety Audit.
- Approved the appointment of members to Council’s new advisory committees, and appointed Councillors to the individual advisory committees.
- Endorsed the public exhibition of the draft Rainbow Yarra Policy, noting that the exhibition period will run from 18 August to 15 September 2025.
