Join the fun: Greek stories and songs every week at Yarra Libraries

Families are invited to step into the colourful world of Greek language and culture as our Greek Storytime sessions get a refresh from our brand‑new facilitator, Mary. 

Each session is packed with lively Greek stories, catchy songs and hands‑on activities designed to spark curiosity, build cultural pride and create joyful moments for kids and their families. 

Our new facilitator, Mary, says she’s excited to start bringing the program to life, and says anyone can attend:  

“You don’t even need to be a Greek speaker - I can translate for you and you’re welcome to come along to enjoy the music, songs and dance for yourself,” she says. 

Whether you have Greek heritage or simply love discovering new cultures, these sessions offer a warm, welcoming space to learn, laugh and connect. 

Come along, bring the kids and celebrate the richness of Greek culture through stories and play.  

Greek Storytime is held weekly during school term and is suitable for kids aged 3+ and families. Bookings are not required.
