Michael Pratt’s dedication to making sport accessible and inclusive for all has earned him recognition in the Contribution to Sport category.
As co-founder of Yarra Tri Club, he’s spent 30 years creating welcoming spaces and accessible training for athletes of all ages and abilities in Yarra—including seniors, people with disabilities, and neurodiverse individuals.
As a World Triathlon Champion, Michael inspires others at a local level through his dedication and passion for physical activity. In partnership with Inclusive Sports Training, he has developed pathway programs that boost not only sporting performance but encourages confidence and social belonging, while promoting equity and inclusion. An approach that reflects Yarra’s values.
