Ryan's Reserve contains public netball courts. These courts are free for casual community use. If you are operating organised sporting competitions, private coaching/training sessions or school sport events, please contact [email protected]. Fees outlined below.

Eligibility

Commercial fee: Private hirers, non-Yarra private schools and professional sporting clubs/organisations.
Concession 1: Non-Yarra not-for-profit community groups (including sports clubs), non-Yarra government high schools and Yarra private schools
Concession 2: Yarra not-for profit community groups (including sports clubs), Yarra government high schools
Concession 3: Yarra primary schools

A valid insurance policy (minimum $20 million public liability) is required for all hirers. The value of this policy is mandatory and there is no flexibility.

Ryan's Reserve Tennis & Netball Centre

The new modular Mary Rogers Pavilion is now in place at Ryan’s Reserve, the first of its kind to be constructed in Yarra.

Council is pleased to share the four Netball courts and public toilet available at Ryan’s Reserve are open once more to the public.

The modern pavilion includes:

  • changeroom facilities,
  • social space, kitchen and first aid facilities,
  • accessible toilets and external public access toilet,
  • access ramps and public foyer; and
  • additional bike racks.

We are excited to offer local schools the opportunity to use the newly renovated courts at Ryan's Reserve. If you are planning school sport competitions, team trials or would like to use the courts for lessons, complete the Expression of Interest for schools

Ryan's Reserve & Mary Rogers Pavilion Redevelopment is funded by the Victorian State Government through the Inner City Netball Program.

Public access courts can also be found at the following locations:

  • Burnley Oval Basketball Court – approx. 200m away.
  • Kevin Bartlett Sporting complex – netball shooting ring net located at the cricket nets.
