A parkland setting and convenient location make this venue a popular choice for event organisers.

The Djerring Centre (pronounced "jerr-ing") is suitable for formal and semi-formal functions, workshops and general meetings. It can accommodate up to 100 people.

As the venue is used regularly for program activity, it is available for hire outside business hours only.

Restrictions and further information

  • All functions must finish by 10pm Sunday to Thursday or by 12am Fridays and Saturdays.
  • This venue contains a commercial kitchen which is adjacent to the function space. This kitchen is not accessible for hirers, and may be occupied by tenants during your event. This should not impact on activities within the function space itself.
  • Djerring Centre is in a residential area; noise levels must be monitored.
  • You must supply their own cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen.
  • You may choose your own caterer; names of recommended caterers can be provided upon request.
  • This is not a licensed venue. You must apply for a temporary limited licence if you intend to sell alcohol. If you wish to supply alcohol free of charge or to allow your guests to bring their own alcohol, you must submit a Partysafe form to Victoria Police.

If you’re a registered user and have booked a venue with us before, you can log on to make a new booking.

If you’re a first-time user, please register with us.

If you are from an organisation, please ensure you register your organisation and book in the organisation’s name.

Not-for-profit groups may be eligible for a discounted rate. You must first contact us on 9205 5555 or [email protected] to get verified for a discounted rate.

Fees and Charges

You will be required to pay a security bond to confirm your booking.

To be considered for the not for profit and concession rates, you will need to show evidence of your eligibility at the time of booking. Some restrictions may apply.
