City of Yarra presents two artworks curated by the Centre for Projection Art for Garden State Festival.

Alison Bennett’s Vegetal/Digital work, an exploration on the complexity of plant life that began during Melbourne’s lock downs in 2020-2021, will light up the Collingwood Housing Estate at 240 Wellington Street. Expect stunning botanicals of grand proportions.

Over the road at the top of Otter Street, Kate Beynon and Michael Pablo present Visions. Inspired by a supernatural fairytale, the work mixes painting, traditional 2D and digital animation with spinning flowers to create a surreal night-time experience.
Projection site: Otter Street (Corner Smith Street), Collingwood Together, let’s start conversations, open studios, showcase design, create ephemeral art, run plant workshops and far more.
