Rita Satch
A finalist in the prestigious 2020 National Jazz Awards, Rita Satch has toured Australia and the world, performing at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury & Cheltenham Jazz Festival (UK). Satch frequently collaborates with some of Australia's leading musicians, including Barney McAll, who featured her on his releases Sweet Water An Extra Celestial Christmas & more recently on upcoming 2022 release Precious Energy. This special performance will feature brand new material from her upcoming album.

The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra
Inspired by the afro-beat music of Nigeria and its surrounds, The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra delivers contemporary African funk to Australian dancefloors. Based in Melbourne, this mammoth ensemble comprises diverse Australian, indigenous and African diaspora musicians.

As the afro-beat movement of the 60’s and 70’s makes a worldwide resurgence, The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra’s powerful MCs and tribal rhythms reconstitute the modern-day ‘musical weapon’ that Fela Kuti conceived of. The conscious lyrics and West African grooves are relevant today yet faithful to the powerful voice of afro-beat.

The group is the brainchild of Zvi Belling, Ethan Hill (DJ Manchild) and Tristan Ludowyk, long- time friends and musical collaborators, each with diverse and prolific musical backgrounds to draw upon. The band has recently release their second studio album titled ‘Naming and Blaming’ following their ARIA-nominated debut ‘Do Anything Go Anywhere’. The group’s performance highlights include opening the Melbourne International Arts Festival, WOMADelaide, Bluesfest and the Perth International Arts Festival as well as performing with Femi and Made Kuti at Max Watts for the 2019 edition of ‘Beasts Of No Nation’.
