Councillor Aston was elected at the 2024 Council elections to serve the Langridge Ward, which comprises the majority of Abbotsford and parts of Richmond (North). Councillor Aston has lived in Yarra for more than ten years.
Councillor Aston is focused on ensuring Yarra has clean and safe streets, works constructively with all levels of government in the interest of Yarra residents, values green and open space for the benefit of residents and our pets, and on protecting the beauty of natural spaces across Yarra.
In 2025/26, Councillor Aston is serving a member of the Environment Advisory Committee.
Councillor Aston has extensive experience across Victorian public service, not for profit, private enterprise and consultancy, and currently runs her own business in Abbotsford.
