Making volunteering easier

making volunteering easier

We want to hear from you about how we can best support volunteering for individuals and organisations in Yarra.

People who volunteer feel physically, mentally and emotionally better. It’s a great way to make connections, gain experience and find a sense of purpose, all while helping the local community.

We’re currently exploring ways to better support volunteering in Yarra and we’d love to hear about your ideas and priorities.

This is an opportunity to grow volunteering in Yarra and build on our vibrant and cohesive community.

How can we connect volunteers with the right information and resources? How can we showcase volunteer opportunities, assist with education and training, and ensure that volunteers are acknowledged for their efforts?

Come and talk to us in person at one of our pop-up stalls:

Saturday 25 August 8am to 11am

Gleadell Street Market, Richmond

Wednesday 29 August 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Bargoonga Nganjin Library, North Fitzroy

Monday 10 September 10am to 11am

Carlton Library, North Carlton

You can also provide us feedback online.
