On Easter Saturday, Rathdowne and Nicholson Villages came alive with a roving ‘Easter in Wonderland’ performance featuring the Mad Hatter, Red Queen, White Rabbit and Tweedledee and a travelling tea party. Performance group TBC Theatre worked with Yarra’s Economic Development Unit and traders to put on a creative Easter activation, aimed at families, to bring a burst of vibrancy to two of Yarra’s very local-focused retail precincts. Over 200 children participated on the day, and almost as many parents.

 Local businesses participated in the event with complementary activities including a hamper raffle and an Easter storytime.
