From Friday 14 February to Saturday 15 February 2025, Fitzroy Swimming Pool will host the 25th annual Fitzroy MS Mega Swim. The MS 24 Hour Mega Swim is a fun team relay event aiming to raise money for people living with multiple sclerosis.
During the MS Mega Swim each team has a swimmer in the water for the entire 24 hours competing for laps swum and money raised in support for people living with multiple sclerosis.
People of all ages and abilities can take part in the event, with each team creating a roster to suit each swimmer. Some swim for 10 minutes, others for 4 hours!
How do I register?
Visit the MS Mega Swim website to register online. You can choose to register as an individual, join an existing team or create your own team.
Will the pool be closed to the public?
Yes, the 50m pool, toddler pool and group exercise studio will be closed to the public from 5pm Friday 14 February to 7pm Saturday 15 February.
They will reopen 7am Sunday 16 February.
The gym, spa, sauna and steam room will be open to the public during normal opening hours while the MS Mega Swim takes place.
