Changes to Fees and Charges 2025-26: Yarra Leisure

As part of the 2025-26 annual budget process, Yarra City Council have adopted an increase in fees and charges across its services, including Yarra Leisure, to maintain high standards and keep improving our facilities.

When will the new fees and charges be introduced?

  • Casual programs and services including visit passes: Tuesday 1 July 2025
  • Membership fees: Tuesday 15 July 2025
  • Swim School membership fees: Tuesday 15 July 2025

Changes to service fees and charges

Starting Tuesday 15 July 2025, direct debit payments will incur a transaction fee based on the payment method used.

  • A 1.43% surcharge will apply to each transaction for customers paying with a credit card or debit card.
  • A flat 35-cent fee will apply to each transaction for customers paying directly from their bank account.

2025-26 planned facility improvements

In the adopted Budget for 2025-26, Yarra City Council has committed to improvements to our venues including:

  • Planning, design and conversion for the electrification of Collingwood Leisure Centre.
  • Upgrading general facilities inclusive of painting, flooring, lighting, lockers and fixtures and fittings.
  • Upgrading aquatic equipment at Fitzroy Swimming Pool.
  • Upgrading accessibility equipment, inclusive of a changeroom hoist at Richmond Recreation Centre, new push button doors at Fitzroy Swimming Pool, and changeroom signage across all sites.
