We facilitate sport club development workshops every year. These workshops focus on upskilling clubs and supporting them to meet the Sportsgrounds and Facilities Allocation Policy [ PDF, 84.36 KB] criteria. This page will be updated with the content from each workshop as they occur.

Community training program
Different sessions are run throughout the year to support volunteers, people who manage volunteers, members of committees, not-for profit and community organisations in Yarra to help them run as effectively as possible.

Understanding Yarra’s Community Profile
The Yarra Community Profile resource provides a demographic analysis of suburbs within Yarra based on results from Censuses of Population and Housing.
Implementing Child Safety
- Vicsport’s Child Safe Sport assists with the implementation and understanding of the 11 Victorian Child Safe Standards.
- Play by the Rules’ Child Protection and Safeguarding Course will help to develop your knowledge on the importance of safeguarding children in sport.
