Richmond Town Hall was built in the 1890s in a Venetian Gothic style. Its façade received an Art Deco remodel during the 1930s and became Richmond City Hall.
The main hall can host up to 200 people for dinners, trivia nights, weddings and a range of other purposes. It features a parquetry dance floor, bar area, commercial kitchen and grand piano.
The venue can be separated into 3 breakout spaces, suitable for conferences and smaller meetings.
Each room has an in-built AV system with screens, with the option to operate them on their own or at the same time.
*Additional Venue Support Officers may be required in addition to the hire fee depending on attendee numbers, and the complexity and nature of the event.
For not for profit and concession rates, you will need to show evidence of your eligibility at the time of booking. Some restrictions may apply.
We offer a Town Hall subsidy grant to not for profit community groups who operate in Yarra. For more information, visit our Town Hall subsidy grant page.
