The Maternal and Child Health Service offers sleep and settling support to families with children aged up to 2 years.
Tailored education sessions and support on sleep strategies and cycles, settling techniques and more are available for the following developmental age groups:
- newborns from birth to 6 months
- babies from 6 to 12 months
- toddlers 12 months, plus - by appointment only
If you need additional support, we may offer a one-on-one in-home visit following a sleep assessment by the Sleep and Settling Maternal and Child Health nurse.
Sessions and booking details
Our sessions are delivered by a MCH Nurse and Early Parenting Worker for the following age ranges. Please select the age group and session that is appropriate to you.
Newborns: 0 – 6 months
Location: Abbotsford MCH
Gahan Reserve, Park Street Abbotsford
Babies: 6 – 12 months
Location: Richmond South MCH
Studio One Community Hub, 15 Barnet Way, Richmond
Toddlers: 1 to 2 years
By appointment only; the location will be determined by the Sleep and Settling Facilitator.
