Road closures and public transport
Road closures will be in place to facilitate the safe delivery of the Johnston Street Fiesta.
Bus services (Routes 200 and 207) will NOT operate along Johnston Street, between Nicholson and Brunswick Streets. Buses will be diverted for the whole weekend starting from 12.30am on Saturday 22 February until 5am on Monday 24 February. Tow-away area Johnston Street
Johnston Street (between Nicholson and Brunswick Street) Fitzroy will be a tow-away area to facilitate the traffic management for the 2025 Johnston Street Fiesta. This tow-away area takes effect from:
- 6pm on Friday 21 February and
- expires at 5am on Monday 24 February
