Bridge Road Streetscape Masterplan

We adopted the Bridge Road Streetscape Masterplan in 2017. The purpose of the Bridge Road Streetscape Masterplan is to provide a long-term strategic vision for the street’s public domain and public spaces, and set out objectives and a framework to achieve that vision.

Brunswick Street Streetscape Masterplan

The Brunswick Street Streetscape Masterplan was adopted in 2020. This plan guides future changes and improvements to the footpaths and public spaces along Brunswick Street (between Alexandra Parade and Victoria Parade), as well as the streets around Fitzroy Town Hall and Atherton Gardens. 

The improvements included in the Streetscape Masterplan are aimed at creating high quality and welcoming public spaces that build on its strengths and established identity, support a range of activities and deliver benefits such as increased tree planting.

Swan Street Streetscape Masterplan

We are currently developing a streetscape masterplan for Swan Street to guide future improvements to footpaths and public spaces along this corridor.

Victoria Street Streetscape Masterplan

The Victoria Street Streetscape Masterplan guides future streetscape improvements in the Victoria Street precinct, which extends for 2.1 kilometres from Hoddle Street to the Yarra River.
