Monday night soccer

Programs run at Collingwood College (with Blue Light Victoria) and Richmond West Primary School (with Collingwood City FC), and are for young people aged 12 to 25 who want to improve their skills and take part in a social game of soccer.

Both programs are free and healthy snacks are included.

  • Mondays (during school term), 4pm to 6pm at the Yarra Youth Centre

Melbourne City Football Club soccer pathways program

A weekly program held at Victoria Park and Atherton Gardens for young, up-and-coming soccer stars aged 12 to 25 who want to develop and reach the next level.

The program is run in partnership with Melbourne City FC who provide coaches, uniforms, opportunities to meet players and visit games, plus much more. The program is free of charge however if selected, young people are required to commit to attending all training sessions.

  • Wednesdays (during school term), 4pm to 6pm at Atherton Oval, opposite the Yarra Youth Centre


This is a weekly program where young people 12 to 25 years of age can come for a casual swim, or work to work on their swimming technique with qualified swimming teachers.

The swimming program is alternated between Richmond and Fitzroy Swimming Pools depending on the season.

The program is free of charge, with healthy snacks provided.

  • Thursdays (during school term), 4pm to 6pm, leaving from Yarra Youth Centre.
